The
Book of Ruth
presents the emphasis
of preaching and/or teaching the
Gospel of Grace in its purity.
Exposition of Scripture must present
saving grace with no admixtures of
limitations because of human sin, human
obligation, or human merit. According to
the Holy Scriptures, Christianity is
never conditioned on human faithfulness,
or on the promise of human faithfulness.
There is no payment required: past,
present, or future. How faithfully we
should serve Christ, but never to repay
Him! Christianity is not living in
debt to God; it is living debt free
because of Christ crucified.
This is the Hallmark of Ruth... and the
entire Bible.
