For the body of Christ, the marriage of the Lamb will be a glorious moment when Jesus Christ (the bridegroom) weds His bride, the Church.  This blessed experience will take place in the heavenly places immediately after the Judgment Seat Of Christ where individual believers will be tried and tested for their work on earth (1 Corinthians 3:11,15).  Once this testing is complete, the bride of Christ is ready for her adornment and marriage (Revelation 19:8). 

Mind you,  while this is going on, the Apostate Church on earth (during The Great Tribulation) is being utterly destroyed.  The Marriage of the Lamb would be hard pressed for joy with the Apostate Church left intact in whom "was found the blood of prophets, and of saints and of all who were slain upon the earth" by this vile whore, the false Church (Revelation 18:20, 24).

With the destruction of the Apostate Christendom complete, the whole realm of the heavenly places is enjoying a gracious and glorious celebration around the very throne of God.  The participants are many.  Around the throne are the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures (beasts) along with a great host of saints all engaged in worshipping the living God.  It doesn't stop there,  the Marriage Supper of the Lamb follows which commences the millennial kingdom...   when Christ and His Bride return back to the earth to rule and  reign for a thousand years.  How fortunate we are as Christians to be saved by the grace of God!
